Update : Whatsapp User experienced an outage for around 210 minutes yesterday from 11 am to 2:30 pm PST. Users around the whole world reported that they are not able to send messages because it get stuck every time they open WhatsApp.
WhatsApp Confirmed that These problem at 12:16 PST with a tweet that "Sorry we are currently Experiencing server issues. We Hope to backup and recovered Shortly."
Reports from Some Users Facing problem are:
"Last seen" stamps got vanished from their conversation.
We are not able to send Message to anyone using whatsapp.
When i open WhatsApp to read conversation it got stuck there only.
On Twitter WhatsApp User who are following asked "Is WhatsApp Down?".
They met with memes joking that
Facebook was shutting WhatsApp down.
It founders went on Vacation
There was a party in the server Room
Marc Zuckerburg himself was meddling with the app.
When users like me tried to send messages or check their existing chat conversation it got stuck their only "Connecting.."
The "WhatsDown" reports or news started flooding in around 11 am at PST, this problem started from last night only.We had received tips from various Tech news websites from frustrated users in US,India,Israel and all over the world. They Had a fear that Facebook will screw up WhatsApp if the acquisition gets regulatory Approval.
This Downtime has pushed users to other apps , like Telegram tweeted:
"This is crazy. We'r getting 100 new registration every second.Trying Hard to prevent connection issues in Europe."
