Facebook To Buy WhatsApp for $16 Billion

Facebook has signed an agreement with WhatsApp The Popular Messaging App to acquire  it, for $16 Billion in cash and stock, This agreement was signed on Wednesday.

The deal is placed by Facebook and the Largest acquisition deal, and up to date comes after the rumors in late 2012 and early 2013 that Facebook and Google were trying to buy this messaging app.

According to deal, Facebook has agreed to pay $12 Billion in stock and $4 Billion in cash to Whatsapp.
Even Facebook is ready to Pay an Additional $3 Billion to the Founders and employees in deal.
So the Total Price has raised to $19 Billion.

Whatsapp which has been founded in 2009 by Former of Yahoo Engineers Jan kourn and Brian Acton, who has launched this Most Popular app which can threat Facebook Business.
This app served as an Alternative to SMS by letting the Users send message for free. It Has currently more that 450 million people who use Whatsapp Everyday.

Mark Zuckerburg, Facebook's Co-founder and CEO says " I've Known Jan for a Long time and I'm excited to have a Partnership with him and his team to make the World More Open and Connected."
